My iPod is kicking the bucket. It freezes every once in a while and I can't turn it off. The super thing about that is that if it runs down to no power then it acts extra special. I have to plug it into my computer and let it hang out there for a good long while before it realizes it's alive. For a while I thought it was corrupted for good because when I plugged it in it would flash warning signs and turn itself off. Then it was flashing the 'do not disconnect' symbol, but it was in black and white while it's usually in color. I just left it hooked to the computer for a while when I was off doing something else and it was magically fixed when I came back.
It's still acting stupid, but at least I know how to fix it at this point. The reset function has been used a LOT recently, which is never a good thing. I'm debating getting a new one, but they have so many stinkin' options now. I considered the nano, but it doesn't hold enough. I'd probably just stick with the classic one. The classic iPod has a ton of memory, even at the base model. We shall see.
